i was surfing the net today and when i minimize my web browser my desktop background change to a picture of a window saying Warning! Spyware detected on your computer! i then went to properties to change the background but the desktop tab was missing!!! so i scan for virus using AVG and it found 2 viruses (Trojan) 1 of them was deleted the other was put into the vault(do i leave it in there?). then i use spybot search and destroy which fixed the missing desktop tab.is there anything else i need to do to make sure this won’t happen again? please and thank you!

Warning! Spyware detected on your computer” is a result of rogue antispyware program called Antivirus XP 2008 (AntivirusXP2008) that infects user’s computer system. This adware hijacks users desktop, it changes wallpaper with this message:
“Warning! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer”
“Warning! Spyware detected on your computer” can also change users homepage and show this type of message:
”Insecure internet activity. Threat of virus attack”
Most likely this adware will carry user into rogue antispyware promoting site and will try to force user into buying a rogue antispyware program like Antivirus XP 2008 (AntivirusXP2008). “Warning! Spyware detected on your computer” can also download rogue antispyware without user’s permission using browser security holes. http://WWW.Pcthreat.com recommends users to remove this dangerous adware from their computer system!

i would use avast and do a scan…avg rates pretty low at picking up viruses.
Also download spyware blaster on top of spybot.
Make sure the tea timer is on in spybot under advanced settings as this protects your system setting from being changed by spyware.
hope this helps
