The DVD/CD drive will not play when disk is inserted. Device Manager says this device (the CD/DVD drive) will not open (code 10). Checked for solutions and it said could not load driver software. Checked for new driver and it said it was installed and we have the latest version. What can be done?
We tried what Mick F. said to do. We unistalled the device. When the computer tried to install the new driver it said it was unsuccessful in installation and still will not open.

un install the driver and reinstall —if u didnt delete the old driver before getting the updated one u could have a loading problem —
try again –just uninstall the driver before u reinstall
