recently i had a pop up from an apparent windows XP 2008 antivirus telling me i needed to run a scan on my computer. After that all hell broke with my laptop. Since then my laptop constantly gets the NT authority system shutdown leaving me with only 59 seconds to save anything i need to do before it completely restarts my system. I’ve learned though through research I can go to start>run>shutdown -a….but that doesnt stop it from happening again. I notice it happens randomly; some people say it happens every hour or every couple of minutes. Mine however could be an hour apart to 10 minutes apart. well this is just ONE problem..
another one i am having is whenever i am browsing on a search bar.. any links to sites id like to go to automatically redirects me to websites that have absolutely nothing to do with what i searched for yet alone I can run a search on Facebook and click on the first link and it would take me to a health website.
I’ve been to download.com and downloaded Spybot search & destroy which seemed to find alot of other stuff that my McAfee security did not. But even after trying to fix the problems on spybot it couldnt fix 9 of them..
I’m running out of ideas.. Please i beg anyone to help me out on this.. Its really starting to get annoying

Download and install MBAM from http://www.malwarebytes.org. Run the scan and tell it to delete whatever it finds. It seems to kill this infection rather nicely.
Get some antivirus and antispyware protection for your PC!
