Hi! I have spy sweeper with antivirus for my computer. However I’m runing out of time on it and it wants me to purchase another one from them. Is this what your suppose to do when your time runs out is go buy a new one and throw the other away? Umm is there any way I can get another code without havin to buy another one? Also aprox how high are they? Also Is there anything better than this(free and online) for you computer?

Comodo Pro firewall and antivirus are both free and very good as I have them on 2 of my other computers

You would be purchasing another year of virus defination updates. With dozens of new malwares being coded and released every day, an anti-malware program without daily updates is useless.
If you are looking for a free replacement I would suggest Avast, the newest version 4.8. Avast now includes anti-virus, some anti-spyware capability and anti-rootkit components. And all for the low low price of free. You can get it here:

(Always use only 1 A-V…You must NEVER use more than one anti-virus, Even an expired anti-virus can cause a major conflict… did I mention that you MUST uninstall your old Webroot?)

There may be an (enabled)auto update each year feature with Webroot antivirus .. this is the default setup and you will be updated and billed …. automaticaly ,,, and this is okay if you perfer to stay with Webroot which is excellent . You may disable the auto yearly update by the way . Since the popup is > “asking” you to update purchase for another year , then the auto update is either not a feature or it is not enabled . This popup/alert is good as well . Quality products by Webroot and Symantec will keep you protected and alerted . I use Symantecs Norton “Internet Security 2009″ for antivirus and use Webroot SpySweeper alongside and they work together .. no conflics . .. I don’t bother with ordering the CD . The contract and Key are always in my account at Symantec and Webroot . The new installs will properly remove previous . Free stuff can be a pain for users like me who needs smooth Sailing year to year experiences . Purchased Quality products like Webroot and Symantec will grant a user easy usage and quick updates and installs … all the time .
