Does anyone know a website I can look for Mail Scams targeted to Senior Citizens - example: The Senior Citizen Association of America - Social Security Past Due Campaign. I cannot find them when I google the name of the organization, or the "campaign". My mother-in-law has been sending money to them, and it has to stop! But first I need evidence showing if this is legitimate or not. I will be signing her up to stop receiving unwanted mail. Does anyone have that web-site, too? THANK YOU!

A total scam and please, PLEASE, never reveal your Social Security to anyone over the internet or elsewhere. Unbelievably, I used to live in a State (Indiana) which PRINTED the Social Security numbers on people's driver's licenses. Blessedly, they ceased to do so a while back.
If money has been paid in through a credit card, protest the charges and have plenty of details and backup information to substantiate a claim. If payments have been made by personal check or, God forbid, cashier's check, it may be SOL time.
