WEP encryption help.?

September 14th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I am trying to conect my laptop to the same network as my desktop. I have 2wire roaming or something. So the 2wire is hooked up to the desktop and when we try to connect to the network it says enter encryption code or network key. is there any way to find this using the 2wire on my desktop? And if you are going to answer with something stupid like “can’t help you” please dn’t waste your time that is quite annoying lol. Thanks for any input.

      1) You can find the WEP key in the 2-Wire by connecting to it with your computer. The address is in the manual - it might be http://172.16.0.1/ (depending on model number).
