I recommed kaspersky, as it as much higher detection rates than both of those other antiviruses. If your computer is old, than it may slow your computer down…. personally, Norton is the worst. It has terrible detection rates, and slows your computer down…

      Here's the thing
      - Norton 360 version 2 has backup and tune up
      - Kaspersky Internet Security has a high detection rate than Norton so its most likely that Kaspersky is the best option for keeping out viruses
      - Kaspersky Doesnt have Back Up and Tune Up
      - Don't even worry about windows onelive care
So now you have 2 choices

Kaspersky would probably fit much better with your needs. Its very user friendly and does not necessarly slow down your PC performance.
I actually prefer to use AVG, but if i ever wanted to spend money on anti virus protection it would be on kaspersky.

If you want the best one, use kaspersky, if thats too expensive for ya, do live onecare, JUST DON'T DO NORTON, IT SCREWED MY PC UP AND FORCED ME TO REFORMAT!!!

I have windows live care, kaspersky and mcafee virus protections…all three work great, and i download tons of videos and music as well. plus, if you sign up for AOL you can download mcafee for free.

      Norton:
It is SLOW,it will lock up your keyboar, crash your computer and it has painfully low detection rates,it lets….EVERYTHING……COME INTO YOUR COMPUTER.

      Kaspersky:
This antivirus has the highest detection rate available. You will not find an antivirus that detects more viruses than this one.
BUT:Scans and updates are slowwwwwwwwwwwwww and the firewall in the internet security version pops up for every little thing and you need to create a rule for EVERYTHING.If you're not very experienced with computers, don't use this one.

      Windows live one care:
Fast updates, scans could be a little faster.Detection rate is average.
Annoying alerts,it wants you to backup your pc every week and the firewall is useless,it uses windows defender and windows Firewall to protect you.
Useless tuneups aswell, they say the tuneups will speed up your pc but they don't =p .
I don't really recommend this one.

The best antivirus of these 3 is kaspersky and the worst is norton. The best antivirus that I have ever tried is NOD32.

      Windows live one care:
      http://onecare.live.com
      Kaspersky:
      http://www.kaspersky.com/globalstore?ipcountry=LU
      Norton:
      http://www.norton.com

      Check out NOD32:
      http://www.eset.com/
It has a lower detection rate than kaspersky but it is MUCH lighter on resources,it has faster updates and scans. In Kaspersky, you need to reboot in order to complete an update of the definitions,in NOD32,you don't.
NOD32 is the only antivirus that has NO FALSE POSITIVES!A false positive is when your antivirus says that something is a virus and it actually isn't.Kaspersky, however has this sometimes….

      Good luck!
