What do I do if Windows XP folders open to the Search page rather than just opening and showing the files?

September 24th, 2008 · No Comments

I am having problems with opening windows files. I have done everything I possibly could to resolve this problem to no avail. Every time I click on a folder with files inside it always takes me to the search engine page that you usually have to click Start and Search to get to. I have to right click on file folder and select open to see what is actually in the folder because the settings go automatically to Search… when you click the file. Can you let me know how to get it back to the Open… option? I appreciate any help you can provide.
