What do u think about Symantec Anti virus? Can it really track down all the viruses, spywares etc. and cleaned them fully?

No, it cannot track down and remove all the viruses and spyware. Norton is the biggest resource hog there is. If you want your computer to slow down to a bare crawl, just install this and watch it. And NO antivirus will “track down” and remove spyware. Only antispyware will do that. Personally, I prefer SuperAntiSpyware, because it does the best job for me. It’s free, it’s simple, and if you keep it updated weekly, it’s effective. That’s if you use it weekly!
And frankly, I think the best antivirus is the one I’ve used for nearly 5 years without a virus getting past it. Avast 4 Home. It’s free, too.

Symantec is the worst. I wouldn’t use it if you gave it to me. Eats up memory resources, slows your computer, almost impossible to uninstall.
And their Internet suite is the pits too!

I would suggest using AVG 8 (at least the free one) or Avira AntiVir 8… It’s better than Symatec…
