July 11th, 2008 · 3 Comments

i have a macbook pro and i partitioned my hard drive but i dont use the partition and want to undo it. I heard the only way to undo a mac partition is to wipe the hard drive and start over. i have everything backed up on an external and i was wondering what happens to my interface? will i have all my folders and info and stuff? thank you!

You will loose everything including programs and personal settings

Everything will be gone, it will be like a new Mac assuming you are reinstalling everything on the MacOs X DVDs that came with it. You can just transfer everything you want from the external hard drive.
