and social security is coming out of their pay checks, then who gets the social security money? If they use your social security number then aren' they just paying into your retirement account? And if they use an invalid number aren't they helping to save social security by paying in and not being able to withdraw it in the future?

If they use my SSN, I get that money at retirement. That's the good side. The bad side is that I get stuck with all of their deadbeat debt. They don't pay for what they buy, my credit is wrecked.

That is why those who say that undocumented immigrants are ruining the social security system are just plain wrong. They are paying in and will never receive any benefits. They are either contributing to the account of an individual or to the general social security fund.

The money that is collected by the social security administration by persons who are unauthorized is virtually in limbo. As to what exactly is being done with that money is pure conjecture at this time but I'm sure that someone knows exactly where that money is and what if anything the money is being used for. That is why it is important that the right social security number be used at all times.
