What internet security software do they use at your organization or school..?

My university uses WebMarshal proxy software. The software is implemented as a web proxy that will filter out specific sites.

Could you help me by explaining how the software at you school, university, work etc is implemented….
I am doing a computer science degree and for my assignment need to mention others software available. I you could give me a good explanation i would be great full. The best answer will get 5 stars vote. and best answer

      in our school we use bitdefender now bitdefender won't block website. how it works it will block a website that are nonsense. like myspace, youtube, facebook etc. they use web filtering to block websites.

      if you need some proxy programs or URL you can search it by google or … but if you search this word you can get the better result on google "Ultra surf" "Cproxy"
