What is a comparable product to Norton SystemWorks?

July 22nd, 2008 · 2 Comments

I currently have Norton SystemWorks 2005 installed on my PC without Norton AntiVirus installed because I get McAfee VirusScan free from my employer and I love it.

However, it is beyond time to upgrade Norton SystemWorks 2005 and I wanted to know what other software exists that has so many utilities in one CD program like Norton.

Also, I do not use Norton Internet Security or Firewall software, I use a different brand.

AVG anti virus is an excellent product, and has both a freeware version and a full paid version which includes many of the utilities you mentioned. As a stand alone anti virus program (with free updates), I preferred AVG very much more than the Norton Product. I found it to be less resource intensive on my PC, and the computer actually ran faster, and in my opinion, AVG found more viruses. Go to CNET.com or download.com to read more about AVG anti-virus.
