    Basically a file that a program calls upon so it can function like the programmer wants it to. Adding extra commands for the program and everything else.

    Some programmers use their own and other programmers share some. So it could be for any number of programs. :p

    I believe it stands for Delete Lost Link. Has something to do with orphan files.
