I recently got a virus that is just giving me insane pop ups and playing sound clips and just out of control and would like to know what would be the best software i could download to get rid of all this. Also i want it to be be free not i download it and i have to pay to take it off. If there is no free software to do this what do u recommend i do?

Spybot Search and Destroy is the stuff!
They ask for donations on the site but you don't have to donate to download it.

Go to http://www.housecall.trendmicro.com/ and use the free online scan to get rid of any viruses, worms, spyware or malware that you have on your computer.
