Hey there,
I currently have CA Internet Security Suite 08 and my subscription is about to expire in a week. Can anyone tell me an good Internet Security Suite (I need one that protects up to 3 PCs, and it needs to be at a budget-friendly price).
Also, when you give the name of the company, can you please provide a synopsis of if you like it, any problems or anything at all would help.
One last thing, please I would like to buy an Internet Security Suite that does not slow down my computer at all. (I have had some problems with CA about this.)

Kaspersky Internet Security, all av's will slow down your pc some, but Kaspersky is not one to eat up you RAM. I prefer the anti-virus one though, because KIS takes up a bit more RAM and is 10$ or 20$ more expensive, plus KAV is very good. KIS just gives web site blocking and content filtering and then everything KAV does so, KAV=Perfect, KIS=For Schools, and People Who Need to Block Sites. BTW, AVG will suck up cpu and memory usage so dont use it, KAV 39.95 KIS 60-80$. Norton, AVG, and Avast suck for many reasons, don't know about Nod32, but I think it took them about 3 months to add the new PI trojan to their DB when others took around 1 month. BitDeffender is another good choice,49.85, I think. Also, Kaspersky keys at kavkiskey.com/new.html only bad site according to kaspersky, because it has free keys, but please only use these keys until you can pay for a real license.

Why do you want to spend money when there are efficient freeware programs. No need of Norton, Kaspersky, McAfee …
Three suggestions :
- install each available microsoft security update
- install Avast! for antivirus
- install Spybot Search & Destroy for adwares and IE resident
No problems for years on single PC or server

I have McAfee, and I love it. When I first got it, it detected around 100 problems on my computer. You can get it from Dell.com. I wanna say it was around 150 for 3 computers, but I’m not sure.

All the suites tend to be built around one core component with other parts tagged on. So if the core component is an anti-virus program, that may be good but the other pieces are likely to be average at best. If the core component is a firewall… ditto. And so on.
Kaspersky doesn’t really have any weak parts.
If I was going to buy a suite, that’s the only one I’d consider. But I don’t like suites, I’d rather have the best a-v AND the best firewall AND the best anti-spyware. Etc.

DONT DOWNLOAD AVG…….
AVG IS ONLY FOR POPULARITY BUT IN DETECTION OF WILD VIRUSES ARE VERY POOR / LOW DETECTION RATE AS COMPARED WHAT I RECOMMEND…ACCORDING TO MY SOURCE….
in my opinion better change ur antivirus with AVIRA it has FREE and PAID COMPLETE SOFTWARE…
