I was looking at Norton Security for my computer, but there are several, and I don’t know which one to pick? Is there one better than Norton???

Norton is the WORST Anti-Virus program that there is, it hogs up all of the computers resources and doesn’t keep you virus and spyware free most of time.
I would recommend Kaspersky or Nod32

when picking an antivirus/anti-spyware program, keep in mind that when programmers create a virus, they specifically create it to get passed the most common security programs. i use kaspersky antivirus as it has one of the highest detection rates of other programs. another favorite of mine is the free program “SuperAntiSpyware” you can download it from this link

i have used this several of times to remove viruses in the most tragic of situations. works like a charm, and the best part is, it doesnt cost a dime!

Norton is the worst , it slows your computer down!

I have used Trend Micro, McAfee, and Norton. Brand-wise, I like Norton because it works well and is easy to use. Still, it uses a lot of resources (McAffee and Trend Micro run more in the backround). Right now i have Norton 360 2.0

I prefer and recommend McAfee.

Norton MAY slow down your PC a little.
Why not try Kaspersky? It’s rated one of the best anti-virus programs of all time.
Its virus detection rate is practically 95%…close to a 100%!
