What is the best Spyware remove software out there today?

OK, I got infected with this new antivirus xp 2008 crap… I managed to remove it off my system by editing the registry and doing all sort of stuff, BECOUSE STUPID SPYSWEEPER WONT REMOVE IT. With that stupid antivirus crap, I got infectedd with 3 more adwares, everytime i scan spysweeper picks it up and i do quarantine and asks me to restart, I restart and 1 hour later im being bothered by the same stuff…firefox sometimes wont even open a webpage, and after the scan it dose, and it just comes back…. what can i do to stop this>>> its soo annoying P
