What is the Bullshit(sorry for my language) that people say avast/avira are good and turned out bad?

November 1st, 2008 · 3 Comments

I’ve at least downloaded avast/avira/avg several times and used them more than 20 times(scanning)…and yah it fixed the problems, but i don’t know if it was avast/avira/avg…but now i have some virus which avast can’t detect it and i’ve used avira before which i idnd’t really like..now i ma try avg again, maybe that was the one who really fixed the problem…
the problem is the annoying pop ups that ask me to buy thier product(anti-virus)…and i’ve used security task manager, and avast…i don’t even wanna touch kaspersky since i’ve tried it on someone’s pc which couldn’t even delete the problems that it had detected…yah worst lol…so yah now i ma try AVG again…if it works i’ll keep it…i don’t get how these programs can’t really fix the problems…yah avast/security task manager fixed most of them problems..but why not all? ’cause i’ve haerd that people keep saying Avast is best and all…sorry if i sound like i am pissed or anything…heh i just worked out…a bit out of breath :D…so yah thx, pls give your opinions :)

If you are getting annoying popups telling you should buy some fake product then you have a rogue software infection. It goats users into buying a fake product using fake scanning results and a fake security center
The best free anti-malware for this kind of infection is
      Download and update Malwarebytes AntiMalware
      http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
      And
      SuperAntiSpyware
      http://www.superantispyware.com/
I recommend using Ccleaner before scanning
      http://www.ccleaner.com/

In some cases you need to download anti-malware in safe mode with networking if you can’t do it in normal mode(press f8 while booting to get the options for safe mode)

Also I recommend scanning in safe mode(press f8 while booting) with the internet disconnected and system restore off

The best antivirus if my opinion is Avira Antivir Free because it has a great detection rate then just use MBAM and SAS for the antispyware

To tell you honestly no matter you have an antivirus progam that constantly monitor your pc for any activities it does not means you are safe and unharm because they are just like a med that you take like for example you have a headache you take pain reliever but your headache comes into fever so you need another med for fever thats the same of antivirus. Trojan virus is not only one, there’s a lot of deffrent kind that attack the pc in deffrent way.So, thats what you got i sudgest download malwarebytes program which is you can get at malwarebytes.com.

Avast and Avira are one of the top FREE Anti-Virus programs on the planet. (Note the word “FREE”) Other pay versions of Avast & Avira are not that good.

I recommend Kaspersky, which is a great PAY Anti-Virus. It is rated at least TOP #3 in all Anti-Virus Program review.
      Good luck!
