I’ve at least downloaded avast/avira/avg several times and used them more than 20 times(scanning)…and yah it fixed the problems, but i don’t know if it was avast/avira/avg…but now i have some virus which avast can’t detect it and i’ve used avira before which i idnd’t really like..now i ma try avg again, maybe that was the one who really fixed the problem…
the problem is the annoying pop ups that ask me to buy thier product(anti-virus)…and i’ve used security task manager, and avast…i don’t even wanna touch kaspersky since i’ve tried it on someone’s pc which couldn’t even delete the problems that it had detected…yah worst lol…so yah now i ma try AVG again…if it works i’ll keep it…i don’t get how these programs can’t really fix the problems…yah avast/security task manager fixed most of them problems..but why not all? ’cause i’ve haerd that people keep saying Avast is best and all…sorry if i sound like i am pissed or anything…heh i just worked out…a bit out of breath :D…so yah thx, pls give your opinions ![]()

Yes, avast is the best anti-virus that i have found i had the same problem and avast found it and dealt with it, the virus is probably is attached to your hard drive the best way that i can think of to fix it is to delete the operating system and reinstall it, if that don’t work than it is an advanced virus that cant be dealt with by the recent types of virus protection other than that, i can only think of going to a technician and having them over hull the whole thing.
!!!GOOD LUCK!!!

between all of the softwares u mentioned in your question I’d rather use kaspersky. if you have the older version of it, then u won’t have anymore virus or spyware problems but the newest version is a little troublesome because the lycense key needs to be original and if u have p2p file sharing program then it will be easy to dload the older version of kaspersky’s key. good luck in geting rid of your viruses in your cpu.

Sorry to say this, but all the virus scanners and spyware programs can not scan window files that are in use (their acces is denied). This means you do not have a 100% scan going on at any given time. Virus scan in safe mode is a little better but still not 100% scanned. To get a 100% scan your need a Live-CD with those programs on it and boot from the CD. This puts the software in memory and allows the hard drive to be free of any running programs. You are not in the Window environment and it can't interfere with your scanning. I use the newest AVG for Free Edition and it catches viruses before they come down on the computer. Are you using Internet Explorer 7?
