All the answers here are that Mac is good for editing. I understand that Mac are more preferred in the media industry because it is for some reason good for images/editing/animation. but what is is the exact technical difference or more precisely the hardware difference that other PC/Laptops cannot match or cannot be upgraded to the ‘Mac’ level?

The differences between Macs and “other brands” is simply operating system. The “other brands” either use Linux or Windows and a Mac runs on Apple’s operating system. For some things, a Mac can’t be beat. For general purpose uses, a computer that runs on Windows uses the world’s most popular operating system. That’s the technical difference.
