what is the harm of malware of ANBU TEAM SAMPIT? Can Kaspersky remove it from the infected computer?!

ANBU TEAM SAMPIT is a W32!autorun…84, Bitdefender couldn’t recognize it, while McAfee and Avast does!

      i dunno what does this malware does!!!
      but kaspersky for sure will remove it from your computer!!!
      i have kaspersky and it’s good!!!

      It modifies registry keys to prevent some Windows Services from starting and prevent Explorer from viewing hidden files.just update kapersky and run a full system scan

      It wont be more than a couple of days before ALL of the virus companies have the definitions to be able to scan/remove it.

      Each new version requires new definitions though!

      I would also try running TrendMicro Housecalls so that it can run remotely and look for any other remnants.

      One important thing is the fact that you should completely update the Operating System and ALL of the patches. If your machine is patched for the vulnerability on the HD, then YOU cannot get infected. It is the more proactive approach (patching your machine, keeping your software updated, using the most current firmware and drivers). AV is ALWAYS reactive!
