In short: NONE
Each and every AV has strong and weak points.
If you have some five spare minutes, you can have a look at my thoughts about the concept of "best antivirus":

There are so many different opinions on this topic. Personally I will always go with Norton. Symantec just has the most money and assets. Norton is the antivirus choice of business.
CNET ranks PC-cillin as the best (see link below), followed by McAfee and then Norton. I've used all three in the past. McAfee seems to slow your system the most. Norton costs the most. I have to admit, PC-cillin worked well, wasn't too demnading on my system, and was cheap. Their update feature worked much quicker than Norton's, too. And the one time I needed tech support, I had no problem getting a real person on the phone.
But I just trust Norton more these days.

While all anti-virus programs have their strong points and weak points, I would have to say that do to the length of time that they have been putting out an anti-virus program, the answer would be Norton.
My first Norton anti-virus program was Norton for DOS, which ran on a system that the OS was DOS 6.
With Anti-virus 2008, they have done a better job at not tying up a lot of your resources, which was a major complaint of Norton.
I am still using Norton.
