Here's the problem… I keep getting the message… cannot connect to server. My e-mail was through Incredimail but that stopped working. I uninstalled it, and tried to reinstall it but it just wont let me. I couldn't connect to Live Update on Norton Antivirus, so I uninstalled it. Tried to reinstall it, and guess what… I couldn't. So I downloaded avast! antivirus. It won't connect to download new virus definitions. Talked to my service provider. Lot of help she was. Told me it was a computer problem, not their problem. I have no idea what I need to do. Can someone PLEASE help me??? Everything I try to do, I get a message saying cannot connect to server. How is this possible when ie is working fine???

Sounds almost like something I had when I first got dsl. I was told to unplug the power cord for the dsl modem from the wall and complety turn off the pc. Let it sit for 5 minuets. Turn the pc back on. One the pc is complety turned back plug the power cord for the modem back in. Let the modem rebot like make sure all the correct lights arestaying the way they should. If that doesnt work then it could possibly be a pc problem. I hope was alteast some help to you
