SOOOO I got a HP laptop last year and now recently my computer is running really slow… I have a bunch of random programs and I have no idea of what to keep. PLEASE HELP! Even just telling me about one program is greatly appreciated!!

Do you play HP Games? I got rid of mine long time ago as I don't play games, claimed about 2-3-GBs hard drive space by uninstalling them.
How much RAM have you got?
You can use CCleaner to get rid of junk files and invalid registry entries.

You can get rid of these.

- HP Help and Support
- HP MULTIPLE MODEM INSTALLER for VISTA
These look like they're for an all-in-on printer?
- HP Photosmart All-In-One Software 9.0
- HP Photosmart Essential 2.5
You can get rid of these:
- HP Smart Web Printing
- HP Total Care Advisor
- HP Update
If you don't play any of the MS/HP games, you can get rid of these:
- Microsoft Games for Windows
- My HP Games
You don't need this if you don't use it or if you have Office or use something else:
- Microsoft Works
