I am using a free registry cleaner, Wise Registry Cleaner 2, which identifies safe to fix, obsolete registry entries and allows you to remove them. Also, it identifies other registry entries that may not be safe to fix. For the most part, the bulk of these "questionable" entries include ProgID and VersionIndependentProgID entries. Here is an exerpt of what it says…
Data: Xceed.RSASigningMethod
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{FEB8656C-2615-4864-E034-79CFDB726BC4}\VersionIndependentProgID\
Reason: Specified program identifier does not exist:Xceed.RSASigningMethod
Can try to fix, but this is not fully safe.
Any help in determining if I can delete these entries? Thanks.
