A few days ago, I have posted a question regarding on how to uninstall avast out of my computer and I got some answers which somehow helped. Now my problem is, I want to install kaspersky to my computer but the installer won’t allow me because it says that avast is still installed. I have already uninstalled it via add/remove program and even revo uninstaller and delete the files on the program files folder via tune up shredder. How come that it still says that avast is still installed? And what should I do to completely uninstall it?
(Some may answer or recommend me to download avast uninstall utility, I’m sorry but the internet stops whenever I open the the download site…if it is really what I need then please (if possible), send it to my e-mail account (delacruz_eagle@yahoo.com)
Thanks!!

Anti virus programs are particularly sticky. They leave footprints, .which other programs find.
It is useful to delete the avast folder in Program Files.
I have found that this message is really a cautionary warning and it should be safe to ignore.
