So my security software expired. Just a week ago i renewed my Spy Sweeper. I upgraded it Anti-Virus because it would be cheaper than the Trend Micro i have, and its the same thing right. But i got a error message saying that it would cope with PC-Cillin (trend micro). It is now expired. So now should i uninstall it? or will that put my computer at risk? also there is a error message from microsoft saying "malware protection is off". so what should i do? Thanks for your time.

Try to search for a program called Avira. It's only 29.99 and it's supposed to be the best virus protection you can get.

you cant have two anti virus programs running at the same time. but you can with anti spy ware. if your trend has anti virus and anti spyware just take your pick and uninstall one or the other, you will still be protected.
