What sort of permission do i need to uninstall a program from MY computer ?

when i try to uninstall it says “you must have permission to do this ”
permission from WHO ?
there is only one account on the computer , i am trying to uninstall trend micro cillin or something.

      what program are you trying to uninstall? not enough information? I assume you are using add\remove. I agree with the rest of the people you have to be an administrator. I've never installed their security suite so maybe it has some sort of restriction. I have tried their online scanner and it was pure crap. Wont ever use it again. If you are the owner of the computer, then basically you are the administrator. I dont see why it doesn't just let you uninstall the program.

      All that means is that you need to log into the administrative account. You should have full access to install and uninstall any program.

      need to be signed in as administrator.click start,go to control panel,go to users account,sign in as administator
