I have Windows Vista on my computer. I did the Recovery with automatic data backup and all my files(Application Data, Program Files, System 32, Users, Windows, etc.) were placed on a folder called BACKUP on my Local Disk(C:).
I only want to recover my files such as pictures and documents and everything else I can erase… So my question is do I delete everything on that BACKUP folder? I have disks to all my programs which I can install again so will it mess up my computer if I delete the Program Files that's in the BACKUP folder? Since the new Program Files folder is on my Local Disk(C:)? Ohh God! I hope I'm making sense… lol… please help me…

You may want to burn the folder to a CD prior to deleting it so you have a permanent backup - just in case. Click the link below to learm more about back-up's features.

I'm assuming you
1 backed up everything to backup folder
2 did either a full or partial recovery
now wondering if you should delete all bar docs and pics?
What ever you don't need, delete. Once you have original disks for your program files, you can install when/if you need them later. I would refrain from deleting program files if you think you might need them later. Why create hassle for yourself?
