What would be the best free online anti virus and spyware scanner to use?

Right now i dont have any kind of anti virus or spyware scanner on my computer so i want to get something on here before i get a virus but I was wondering if there are any good free virus scanners with free updates and stuff and if u know of any other good scanners or whatever i would appreciate your help thanks

      Since viruses and spyware are two different things, you need to install one of each. So far, the best I've found is Avast 4 Home antivirus (used it 4+ y ears) and SuperAntiSpyware (used it a year). Avast updates itself daily. You must updated SAS weekly and USE it weekly, or it does you absolutely no good whatsoever.
