I just bought trend micro internet security 2009 and it made me uninstall spyware blaster and spybot search and destroy before installing itself. Are these programs compatible and if they aren't, what would be a good anti spyware because I've heard that trend micro aren't the best for it?

Its not that they arn't compatible, anti-virus, spyware and antiadware usually are designed to run alone and not in a bundle, they each try to be the controlling program. Reinstall swblaster & sb search&destroy just make sure that they only run when you want them to not all the time and you should be ok. I use Trend Micro PCcillin antivirus at work and have spybot search&destroy and Adaware loaded but only PCcillin runs all the time, the other two I use just to scan manually every so often

Just because it makes you uninstall a program doesn't mean that it isn't compatable. Some of the time this is the case but not alot of the time they mostly just do this because they don't want you using anyone elses products and instead want you to use there own.
I recommend you get superantispyware and malwarebytes which are available for free at http://www.download.com and are 100% malware free.
