Also does the starter edition remove all spyware it finds when it scans? Or does it only remove some like on a trial version? Also can it be installed and run without it running all the time? Either in the taskbar or just running in the background using up extra memory and other resources.

I’m not completely sure on this but, I think the Starter Edition doesn’t have real-time monitoring, and doesn’t have a few extra but unless features as in the paid version. The most important is it removes all infections unlike the trial. If you don’t want it running without using too many resources or not in the background, there is no use in getting the paid version. What you can do with the Starter Edition is to disable it, or to not have it automatically start up. There is also the one with antivirus too. You can choose which to get from here.
