I just spent about $1600 on a new computer, and I don’t want it to get eaten up by viruses or whatever comes my way.
I’m looking for the best performance Total Security software out there.
I’m running windows Vista, and I know I have like Windows Defender and such, but I’ve been looking at AVG Total Internet Security and BitDefender Total Internet Security.
Maybe I’m looking at the wrong ones, but if you could give me some recommendations, that’d be great.
NOTE: I hate Norton Anti-Virus. It’s slow and takes up a lot of memory, plus it’s not very user-friendly.
I’m looking for a software that won’t slow down the computer when it’s just “on” but also one that has a good user interface. (I’m running 4GB memory and 3 Ghz processing).
I game a lot online too, so hopefully it won’t be one of those kinds of programs that ask me every 5 minutes if I’m allowing access to the internet by Halo or whatever.

Actually it is best to have two different programs, one for virus and one for spyware. Sometimes those all in one programs, can cause ten times as much as norton.
I would go with AVG 8.0, it works much better then norton, it doesn’t have the lag and is much more user friendly. It also has a free verson, as well as a paid version.

Try avast home edition version 4.
It is a very effective and free anti-virus program.
Do a boot scan and it will remove all the virus and trojan
on your PC. Even those trojan/virus that hide inside the system restore folder.
System volume information folder is a part of system restore
where trojans love to hide because your Anti-Virus
or Antispyware programs cannot get to them there.

go to the torrentz search engine…at http://www.torrentz.com…and search for avg internet security 9.0…..download it ,it is the best….it is effective and w’ll not slow down ur pc
