Whats the difference between Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and Anti-Virus 2009?

My laptops playing up a bit. Slowing down and internet explorer is freezing up as well. Thinking about un-installing avast and using kaspersky trial version to see if anything odd turns up. But I can’t decide between the internet security and the anti-virus.

Help please.
