I remember seeing a commercial for a website that lets you test what may be slowing down your computer's interent connection, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. Anyone know?

Scroll down and select 'free', wait your time then enter the code and hit download, once done run it and make sure It can connect to the internet (dont block it with your firewall) so it can download the patches, then the install screen should come up!

FIRST OF ALL, DO NOT USE THE ONLINE ADVERT TO TEST YOUR PC, caz, it might open back door onto your pc or download a back door trojan/worm so that they have the access to your pc.
Try using a firewall or if you have one then configure it properly, caz it will monitor the network/internet usage from/to your PC.
In the firewall option you might (not all the firewalls support) see the programs using the network/internet and how much resource they are using…
