Everytime I do a scan it says one risk found one risk fixed. What is the risk it finds every single time? Does anyone else have the same problem??

Are you familiar with the term hypochondriac, the makers of norton programmed norton to be one, where 90% of the things it finds arent even viruses so that the people who use the software can say, WOO got my moneys worth, this thing finds EVERYTHING! But to answer your question, that kind of thing happens all the time, and I really wouldnt worry about it, I onyl reccomend antivirus software to people who dont know much about computers, you can only get viruses if you download executables from sketchy sites or p2p software like limewire, so be careful and you wont need it, not to mention norton and mcafee slow down your comp alot, hope this helps.

As you are probably finding by now, Norton stinks big time. It is overpriced and is a duplication to many of the built in functions. It will slow your machine by eating up resources and requiring disk access. The item it finds and fixes is probably it;s own test file. There are good free programs available that are quite effective. You should get advent, avg or nod32. They can be found at downloads.com. Never run without some type of antivirus as there are so many hidden bugs on what are considered safe sites.
