Internet Explorer is really messed up for me and here's an example of something that's happined:
Searched Under "browser Hijacker" on Yahoo!
Clicked on "Wikipedia" Search Result
Opened in New tab for the search result
Opened it opened a Stopzilla page
I tried again
it opened Symantec Page
tried Again
Opened seach8.info.com search on browser Hijacking
It occasionally opens pop-ups that are invalid sites and result in a page saying "This page cannot be displayed"
I've done a full scan with McAffee, found nothing
Scanned with CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy, found nothing (Only Tracking Cookies)
Scanned with Ad-Aware, found nothing
Whenever I try to go to a new website (I type in let's say Wikipedia.org into the URL Bar) it says in the lower left hand corner waiting for, and then it says some random IP address
This ONLY happiens for Internet Explorer, FireFox is fine, however I need to remove this problem.
This morning Yahoo! Anti-Spy found a Trojan and I removed it.

Also, occasionally when I exit Internet Explorer, it opens up internet explorer a few times and loads a bunch of about:blank tabs along with a few random websites.

Try downloading Microsoft Windows Defender. Also try upgrading your Internet Explorer if it is not the latest version to patch any security holes.

It's probably some spyware that set IE to connect with a proxy. Go into Internet Options and tell it to connect directly.
