yeah so this morning when i went to turn on my computer my monitor would turn on but it would stay on a black screen forever… and then the green light would start switching from orange to green back and forth back and forth… and then it makes a weird noise like a laser trying to read something… i dont know whats wrong it was working fine last night… and then when i went to unplug the blue part of the monitor that connects to the computer the light started doing the green light to orange light thing again before it turned off… whats wrong with it? did i break a fuse or something do i need a new monitor? P.S. i just got my computer back like 2 days ago because it was broken.

Check your connections. Make sure both the power cord and the data cable has a good connection on both ends. Sometimes that will help.

You need a new monitor.
