When entering a word or phrase in the Internet Explorer Search box,?

June 5th, 2008 · 2 Comments

and I hit "enter", it just brings me to the google page WITHOUT my search words…(google is the search provider I chose)……How do I set it to automatically search google directly from the search box? It used to do that, but I had to reset my IE settings, and now I don't know how to have it go back to doing that. Does anyone here know how to fix this? Thanks : )

There should be a small arrow to the left or right of the search symbol. Click it and then look for Google as default engine. If its not there you might have to go to internet tools and just type in Google.com as your homepage and every time you want to search something just click on the home button that will send you to Google.

The google search will appear automatically at the top left hand corner if you use Mozilla Firefox browser.
