When I try to get on web pages, my browser sometimes blocks them, saying that I need antivirus. What do I do?

July 16th, 2008 · 3 Comments

When the pages are blocked, a multicolored shield comes up, saying that I need antivirus 2009 to protect my computer from spyware and adware. I can hardly get on any internet sites at all! I tried uninstalling the antivirus 2009 (that it had pretty much made me install), but the blocker still keeps coming up. What should I do to get this to stop happening?

      YOU need the Antivirus!

However, most likely you are being blocked because you have your security settings set to high.

What version of IE are you using?

      I would recommend Firefox 3.
