i don't have a netgear firewall router sorry the computer training place i go to has a netgear firewall router

So your wireless router is netgear? The firewall built in it blocked it for some reason.
Go to the settings and allow it.

As said above but with a bit more detail:
Go to your internet browser and type in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar
Use your login details for the Router, if you dont know this its most likely you havn't changed it and can google for your routers/internet providers default password(thats security for you)
Then go to Block sites(or something similar) and follow instructions from there.
