where did my yahoo toolbar go?

Fot the last 3 day's I've downloaded yahoo toolbar after I go to get on my computer the next time it has disappeared .Someone says to uninstall it but everytime I look in the add remove part it doesn't show.So even though it say's it downloaded I assume it hasn't so how can I get it back? I used to have it.
