Where do sellers on Ebay get Kaspersky key codes from?

June 26th, 2009 · 2 Comments

Just take a look on ebay. There has to be hundreds of people selling key codes & activation codes for Kaspersky internet security 2009. I dont understand where they find these key codes to sell. Some are selling for as low as $7 bucks! I mean, are they legal? pirated? stolen codes? Its for a year of internet security. If anyone could fill me in on this, I would appreciate it. thanks

      they r almost always pirated…
some of the ways to obtain them are :-
      1. some use keygens to create keys and then sell them..
      2. some reverse engineer the product to extract the keys..
      3. some dumb creatures buy those keys and often resell them for a higher value..
      4. very few tend to be fake..
      5. they just grab them from key sharing sites..

Mine is 2 months old and just stopped working. I got a message that Kaspersky blocked it.

It was from ebay, seller with good ratings.
