i can't find it. i have linksys installed on my main computer and it can't find the connection so it told me to enter the info in my laptop so it could connect to the router.
it's probably a stupid q, but where are the settings on a windows xp home edition laptop to enter wireless name, encryption method, linksys passphrase, and encryption key.

Start, Run, type in cmd, click run
type tracert http://www.google.co.uk
the first IP address (looks like 192.168.x.x [x = any number]) that should come up is your routers IP address, type that IP address into your browsers address bar. This will be your routers settings page.
