I want to install free anti virus software. I intend using the free Norton On Demand scan from the Google pack (because it doesn't interfere with other software). I have a problem with the second one though. Should I use AVG, AOL's McAfee or Avira AntiVir Personal Edition? I already have McAfee enterprise edition installed (ver 8.5i). That isn't free, its licensed by my company, but I discovered it has its limitations. I'd like to get some sites with good reviews. Thanks a lot guys.

It's powerful, easy to use and free.

If you want to buy it then NOD is definitely the best, but AVG is free and it's pretty good.

Avira AntiVir Personal is the best free one. It's detection rate actually surpasses Norton and McAfee. The downfall is that it will give you a daily popup to purchase the full version. The very best on the market is Kaspersky, but is not free. Make sure you uninstall any Antivirus protection you have before installing a new one or you will screw up your pc big time!
