I am debating weather to buy Clinique water resistant foundation (sheer coverage) or MAC water resistant foundation (medium-full coverate). Which stays on longer?
I do have blemishes and scars to cover up, so I do need more coverage…
but overall, which foundation stays on longer and lasts all day, and which has the better foundation - Clinique or MAC?

i love mac and wear all their makeup. my skin is fairly clear though. if you don’t mind spending some money i know prescriptives has REALLY good makeup they are at bloomingdales counters

Definitely Clinique. I tried both, and Clinique irritates skin less and stays on longer. A ton of my makeup is from Clinique.

MAC is for stage and photo,not something to be worn ALL the time,or every day,because of it’s heavy coverage you will clog your pores & cause more problems,i would stick with an oil-free water-based (if possible) foundation and go from there, i personally use a tinted moisturizer by Stila and a sheer pressed powder from Too-Faced that has vitamins and environmental protectants in it and that’s all i use i don’t like alot of “stuff” on my skin and it allows me to be natural and even out my complexion just enough without smothering my pores
