Okay, I've used both firewalls in the past, but I'm using Comodo Pro 3.0.2 at this time, since the Personal Version is no available.
Thing though is, I'm finding it too chatty, which is annoying to say the least. Mind you, so was Zone Alarm Pro, but perhaps a bit less.
I've done the research, and just want to know what others think between these 2 firewalls.
Do you have a preference, and why?

ZoneAlarm's paid for version is actually the best.
Comodo's free version is better than ZoneAlarms (see consumersearch source), it passed all leak tests. The free version of ZoneAlarm isn't that great, the paid for version of ZoneAlarm is. The question of which is better has been asked several times: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnI3umNR9exEXTPcU6ZRAzQjzKIX?qid=20070821165327AAorxK0

The Matousec Firewall Challenge is no longer based only on the leak test; the testing is much more broad now, and Comodo Firewall Pro still comes out on top.

Face it, any firewall is going to be somewhat bothersome, at least at first. I think any annoyance is worth it for the peace of mind knowing that you have the best.
(Thumbs-down on Sam not given by me.)

Comodo is better, even than ZoneAlarm Pro. It is virtually impenetrable. This almost brand new article explains why:
