      Neither, eset is best.

I have had years of dealing with Norton's problems and McAfee has been junk for ages. AVG is good for a free program but if you want the top of the line elite AntiVirus.

I have Norton and it works pretty well. It has issues with removing trojans though, from my experience. But all in all, it is a good program.

Norton and McAfee are 2 of the most intrusive and damaging pieces of software you can ever put on your machine.

They are known as bloatware in the trade. They are evolving platforms that grow inside your machine and get into hidden files and clog up your computer and after a time they cannot even be removed without proper software. Eventually your computer is unusable it is so corrupted and slow.

Use AVG8 it is always reliable and it works
