Norton is good but it will bog ur computer down AVG is excellent catches more than most but internet security also includes a firewall where as avg free is only antivirus and antispyware so i would go with the norton

Norton. IF you want the BEST virus protection. I recommend a faster computer, cus it might slow it down
AVG if you have an older, slower computer.

There’s always a different answer for this question but I found that there’s no one program that catches everything. I use two and they’re both free downloads. Spybot and AdAware

AVG Free is made by Norton.

Norton is known all across the globe and acknowledge to be the best Anti virus , but it would slow down your computer a li’l bit.
AVG is not too behind one of the best competitors for Norton. Avg is best used as home edition. So I would suggest to go with AVG coz Norton will be a better options for business.

i will suggest Norton internet security 2008 as the best of the above 2.It has anti-virus,anti-malware,anti-spyware,firewall and lots of others protections.
But the number product that is in the market is bit defender 2008 internet security suite

Well they both are one of the best. But you also have to think about with Norton they would charge you what AVG does for free. That is kinda of a rip off but with AVG on other hands if you but the full version unlike norton it will also do anti spy ware so its like paying 2 for the price of one. But the free edition of AVG don’t offer anti spy ware. GOOD LUCK!!
